    Hi,  without going into detail I am currently doing caelyx treatments for my third recurrence.   But even prior to this,  I have been suffering from intense cold sweats at night.  Anyone else ever experience this? It's been several months.  (I'm years past menopause and have had a full hysterectomy.)  Can the cancer itself be causing this?

    @Camper62 did you ever find your answer to the cold sweats?

    @Camper62

    Hi. I suffered cold chills during one of the trials I was on.

    My cold chills would start about half-hour after I got home from treatment. Nothing worse than the chattering teeth and those chills that feel like they're coming from the inside.

    Here's what I did…

    Gathered my heating pad, sweater and a blanket. I laid down on the couch, all bundled up, and started warming myself up before the cold chills started. I was then able to fall asleep for a few hours and when I woke…the chills had passed.

    Maybe this will work for you. I hope so.🤞

    @Camper62 I'm wondering if you had a chance to speak to your medical team about your cold sweats at night. I'm hoping they were able to provide some context and/or information that may help explain what might be happening. I appreciate the good advice (as always) from @GloHo on how she handled this. Perhaps that has worked for you too?

    Thank you for enquiring about my cold sweats.   They have not subsided, nor do I have a very positive answer.  They are related to a blood disorder that I've have most likely developed from all my chemotherapy.  I have just started a supportive medicine to help boost my red blood cells.  Dealing with cold sweats isn't as huge an issue now I guess.  Take care.

    Well @Camper62 (Jane), that is not the answer I was hoping to hear. I'm so sorry that the cold sweats continue and that they are related to your blood disorder. I can only imagine having to deal with both. Did they identify the specific blood disorder?  It really doesn't seem fair that you are being subjected to all of this. I'm so sorry. I did look online as I was curious and saw that a low red blood cell count (Anemia) can potentially lead to cold sweats. Let's hope that the supportive medicine they've provided will give your red blood cells the boost they need and help reduce the cold sweats.

    Please keep us posted. I'm sending as many healing thoughts your way as I can.
