    Hello Teal Sisters,

Did any of you attend the Walk of Hope in your regions? If so, was it well attended? Where was your event?  Did you feel the community support? Would you go again?

Love that you have all that support @mom2boys! It must have felt good. I am guessing that Victoria had about 70 people. Perhaps in the bigger cities it was much more.

@LeslieA while I wasn't able to attend as I was overseas, however my in-laws plus sister/brother in law attended at the Halton site in Burlington. It was a lovely day and they said it was very well attended. It's at an area called "Spencer Smith Park" which is very visible at the lake shore in Burlington. It's a very common site for festivals etc. so definitely gets lots of traffic and attention. They said they certainly felt the support was there. I know they monitor local news and if there's anything in their local paper will let me know.

My father in law also won one of the 'door' prizes. You donate and get a bunch of tickets and you can choose from various items you might want to win (you drop a ticket into the box in front of those items). It's the second year in a row he's won something. He must wear horseshoes 😃

My team "Mel's Cure Crusaders" managed to raise over $1000 so I'm happy.
