Hi all,

I am not sure if everyone is aware however you can capture your personal cancer journey/story in the BIO section of your Profile. It is a personal choice on whether you want to provide this information or to be honest, what information you'd like to provide, if any. I just wanted folks to be aware.

I recently went and looked at mine and it provided a reminder of how far I had come from my initial diagnosis. I also did a little update based on my "maintenance state".

I know others have set up their BIO sections which for me, is a helpful reminder of someone else's journey. Again, putting information into your BIO is not a requirement however, I just wanted to raise awareness in the event this is something of interest you'd like to do.

NOTE: If you want to modify your BIO, just click on your little "circle" near the top right of this page. Go to the "Profile" section and then click on the "pen" symbol to the right of BIO.

Thank you for the reminder about our bios. I updated mine, hoping that my information will be useful or interesting to others in some way. It is a personal choice to share our stories or not, but I must say that it has been comforting for me to read about other women's experiences and feel that relatable connection. We can share our struggles and our triumphs, if we wish to do so.

@LeslieA no problem. I often go to the BIO section as it is a great reminder as you say, of other women's experiences. 

@Alwayslearning I definitely need to put something in my bio but I would like to start by adding a profile picture and I can't figure out how to do that.

@JoanEG I can try to help you with that. Are you trying to upload an image from your phone or computer?

@Alwayslearning I am using  my iPad so should be the same as a phone.

@JoanEG ok let's see if we can make this work for you. First make sure you have a picture ready if you are going to take it from your iPad photo library.
