Hello Teal Sisters,
Although I don't post very often, I do follow the conversation on a daily basis and feel a sense of fellowship with this community.
Tomorrow I will have my 6th chemo session in this, my 2nd, round of treatments. Because of this timing I opted to NOT participate in the Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope this past weekend. Instead I will be heading to Charlottetown, PEI next week to cross Confederation Bridge as part of the 45th anniversary of Terry's marathon across Canada.
In 1980, Terry Fox showed us that one person has the ability to make a huge difference. I'm walking in Terry's footsteps to raise funds to improve cancer diagnosis, research, and treatment and to honour all Canadians who have battled Cancer - with their own demonstrations of perseverance and resilience - and for the families and communities that support them.
I am proud of everyone who supports the cause to find a cure for Cancer. Terry's dream was to Finish It! Together let's end it!
Thanks for listening,
- Wendy
