Hi all,
Just a reminder if you haven't already registered, the last in the three part Survivorship Series from Ovarian Cancer Canada (OCC) is in two weeks. This session will explore "Navigating Menopause: What You Need to Know". It's on November 17th at 6:30pm EST.
Menopause and its effects can have a significant impact during and after gynecologic cancer-but you don't have to navigate them alone. Join leading experts from the Society of Gynecologic Oncology of Canada, as they discuss menopause after cancer, the latest evidence on menopausal hormone therapy (MHT), and practical strategies for managing the changes. You'll leave with a better understanding of your options and conversation starters to use with your healthcare team to support your everyday well-being.
I know that Menopause pre and post diagnosis is a hot topic (pardon the pun) and I'm sure will be of great interest to many in this forum. I know I'm definitely interested in hearing about MHT and the latest evidence.
The last two sessions in the series have been excellent, with a lot of information shared and so much learning. The recording of the first session has already been posted to OVd (Exploring Survivorship: Life After Diagnosis), and the one from last night (Building Your Integrative Health Care Team) will be posted I'm sure in the coming days.
