We are proud to share that drug manufacture, AbbVie, and the pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance (pCPA) have reached an agreement, less than three months after this community mobilized to send nearly 40,000 messages in support of nationwide access.
Canadians living with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer are closer to accessing the innovative, personalized treatment, ELAHERE, because each of you joined our efforts to demand action. For Canadians who do not have the luxury of time, this progress matters.
What happens now? We turn our focus to making sure that ELAHERE is publicly covered nationwide as quickly as possible. Each province and territory, along with federal programs, will undergo a process with the drug manufacturer to cover ELAHERE under their public drug plans.
