Hi all,

I heard about this on the news this morning and dropped by an info table at PMH (in Toronto), today. PMH is inviting its patients to voluntarily participate in a no-cost health study that aims to learn how genes can affect health. The study will help create one of the largest genetic databases in North America. For more info I've attached brochure pictures. @Alwayslearning too bad it's only open to UHN patients and not Canada wide.

@Meinvan yes I agree. I guess it's because it's a PMH initiative in association with the U.S. genomics company. I'm going to read more about it and see if I'll participate. Since I've already had my HRD testing done (I learned from my gyn-onc yesterday that my HRD testing was done on my tumours when I had my surgery and thus what led to my BRCA-2 mutation discovery), that part isn't of value relative to the initiative however they are looking at other items so I'll revisit and decide.
