In collaboration with Canada's Drug Agency and Common Sense Oncology, Dr. Christopher Booth's research team from Queen's University is developing a short list of questions that patients may find useful when meeting with their oncologist.
They are looking for participants to complete an a
nonymous web-based survey, which should take less than 10 minutes and is approved by the Research Ethics Board at Queen's University.
Data from this study along other inputs from patients and oncologists will be used to generate a tool that will be given to patients at cancer centres across Canada to help them get the information they need to make the treatment decision that is best for them. This project is fundamentally about empowering patients to have the information they need for decision-making.
