    Hello Teal Sisters,
    I was featured in this episode from the 'Overlooked' podcast about cancer survivorship, where the host Golda Arthur talks to Dr Mercedes Castiel about the challenges survivors face as they rebuild their lives, past the diagnosis. I attended the live podcast taping at the Canadian Conference on Ovarian Cancer, back in the spring this year and then I got to share my experience of being a survivor. 
    This is a podcast which features immersive personal narratives that bring to life the gap in women's health research and what's at stake. Women's health can't wait is the podcast's tagline, and you can learn more about the show, which originated from a story about ovarian cancer, here, and get on the mailing list for Overlooked here.

    I just listened to this episode yesterday while on my walk.  It was very interesting and oddly enough, one comment that stood out to me was "Cancer is a curious gift" - I love this and totally agree - and it was from you ☺️

    Thanks @Alwayslearning. I was pretty thrilled when I was contacted this week by Golda Arthur and told that my little audio piece was included in the podcast. I recorded it when I was visiting my friend in Ontario, and very inspired from attending a women's creativity workshop. As difficult as the cancer experience has been for me, there have been strange & wonderful gifts in equal measure.

    my little blurb was featured as well! Love all the comments that were shared.

    I love how she explores and dives in to things that were once (and in some cases are still) considered taboo.

    That is great @MamaJacks! Theresa Arthur's story about her ovarian cancer journey was inspiring and poignant. I am glad that Golda created this podcast for all women. We can't continue to be overlooked.
