  • 1.  Naturopathic oncology and repurposed drugs

    Posted 15 hours ago

After reading Jane McClelland's book How to Starve Cancer I not only started exploring the idea of "repurposed drugs", but decided to find a naturopathic clinic in Montreal.  The information about repurposed drugs and neutraceuticals is really interesting, but so confusing that I wanted to find a guide.  I noticed that many Teal Sisters were consulting with naturopaths.

I found a Centre Intégratif de Santé in Montreal West, and they referred me to the Integrated Naturopathic Clinic in Surrey, BC.  I contacted them and have a video consultation coming up this Friday.  I have filled out all the forms for medical records to be made available to their team.  I also bought their book: Textbook of Naturopathic Oncology.  (https://integrativeoncologyinstitute.ca/textbook-of-naturopathic-oncology/) Very interesting.  Am looking forward to hearing what they have to say.

Aside from How to Starve Cancer (Jane McClelland), I have also consulted Cancer Care (Paul E. Marik).

Soleil, I really appreciate you sharing these resources. I felt very encouraged when viewing the integrated health clinic website. To me, this is just what is needed; a careful review of our medical histories (including areas of strength and wellness) and then a health plan based on our unique needs. Patient-centred, integrative and collaborative care with all practitioners. This was a main theme in the conference that I recently attended. How to consider the whole person, physically, mentally, & emotionally and tend to all these areas as a team.
A rushed 10-minute telephone conversation with my oncologist every 6 months doesn't cut it for me, but I accept that this is the way it is (and I am currently NED), so my needs are few. But to have this type of service where there is time to review, discuss, educate, & advise is very precious. Please let us know your impressions of this service once you have your meeting!

Yassssssss! I’m currently taking Ivermecin! I’m stage 3 in remission for almost 2 years. I have the support of an integrative doctor in Chicago and naturopaths in Toronto - I’m a huge believer that your body and mind need to heal to keep your body “inhospitable” to cancer. Keep us posted!
