I haven't posted in a while as I've been working on a Memowrite book for my kids and grandkids which is basically a memoir in 50 questions.  Takes longer than you'd think to get 66 years of life into a book and add photos!  I'm coming to the end of that project.  I wanted to pop in and let those that remember be know I'm still alive - it will be four years in  Feb 2026- and to ask if anyone else has been on Taxol and Avastin as long as I have - 3 years now.  I get them both twice a month. My side effects are tingling in my fingers and toes, nails that sometimes fall out or lift, red mottled skin on my lower legs and feet, some toileting issues after each treatment, and a little shortness of breath if I try to walk too far or uphill.  Overall, I feel pretty good, but I do wonder what damage the drugs are doing to my body.  I'm happy they have kept me alive (along with all my natural stuff) though!  I can't really say I'm in maintenance as the surgery was a flop (nothing taken out) and while there was a little tumor shrinkage and my CA 125 is down from 422 to 80, the cancer has always remained in my body (stage 3C).  I'm stable for now though. Just wondering if anyone has had this combo or one like it for many years like me.  If this stops working my doc wants to do Elahere since I tested at 80% for folate receptor alpha.

Hi @BellaDonna1959 and I absolutely remember you! So nice to hear from you. I think it's great that you are headed into 4 years. I'm sorry that you continue to experience all those side effects although glad you are feeling well overall. You are being a true warrior in continuing to press forwards. I hope you will celebrate appropriately next February!

The Memowrite sounds interesting. My son/his fiancee bought me something as well. I need to go back and unearth it. I'm sure, like you, it will require some focused effort to complete. Well done on you for getting yours almost complete.
