Happy Thursday. Y beautiful Teal Sisters.

I am so sorry for the I have not been as active the last few months. My sister and I have been sharing caregiving duties for my 90 year old Mom.  But I did want to hop on quickly  and say I read as many of the  posts that I can and am learning something new every day.

I am so happy to let you know I am 1 year in from surgery August 30th. So far no reoccurrence 🙏

I opted for no other treatment other than Letrozol

My next  CT Scan  is This coming Saturday September 6th and than follow up with my Oncologist on September 17th.

always a little bit of an anxious time waiting for results.🥹

I am planning to Walk this coming Sunday In Toronto, is anyone else walking on Sunday

@asatino congrats on your 1 year!  So happy for you.  I pray you continue to have Ned on your scans coming up.  Wishing you a great day as you walk Sunday for yourself but also for all the teal sisters that can't do the walk this year.  Post pictures and let us know how everything goes.  🩵🙏🏻💪

Hi @asatino ... nice to hear from you. I hope your mom is doing well and I'm sending strength your way as I know from personal experience that caregiving duties are not easy. Bless you and your sister for providing that support to your mom.

Congratulations on the 1 year anniversary and continued health. I admit I had to look up "Letrozol" as I wasn't familiar with it. I hope you don't mind me asking however why did you choose this drug? I read that it targets breast cancer however perhaps it's also something that addresses ovarian cancer too? I'm always trying to understand all of the drug options out there so appreciate you sharing (if you are comfortable).

I hope your scan went well as does your Sept 17th appointment. I know so many of us understand the anxiety associated with appointments. I was NEVER concerned when I used to go to my GP for check-ups or if I needed her to investigate something. It's a whole new world now isn't it?!

I walked yesterday as well. I made a "Walk of Hope 2025" post. If you have any pictures please share. I'd love to see some from other Teal Sisters.
