Travelling while in between chemo!

hi all,

im planning a trip to thailand in the next few weeks with my fiance, ideally for about 3 weeks. i've gotten approval from my oncologist to go as i'm in active treatment and in treatment indefinitely unfortunately.

does anyone have any advice or thoughts on this? i'm kinda nervous about going away, but its definitely on my list of places to visit and even though im still in active treatment and i will be for who knows how long, I dont want this to stop me from being able to live my life.

thanks all xo

Hi @mazupardo it sounds like a great trip. I've never been to that part of the world but I hear nothing but positive stories. My advise is to look into travel emergency medical insurance. You may be eligible as there are companies that will provide insurance for pre-existing conditions, based on different definitions of 'stability'. I posted a bunch of information on September 13th in the Resources category to the right. I hope that helps.
