OVdialogue – consider joining our team in the role of Community Champion. Over a few hours each week, you would be part of a team that helps connect people, support conversations and are thought leaders for OVdialogue. This is your opportunity to give back to those who have/continue to support you through the tough times, share your unique experiences, and help celebrate successes. For more details of what this entails, please reach out to @Mfallis (mfallis@ovariancanada.org).
Stay tuned for more details, and feel free to share your thoughts below. Let’s make this community even stronger!

Today was the first session of this six-part series. It was a rewarding experience to hear the stories of other women who have also been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Despite the differences in each case, there was also a common thread that bound everyone together. It was a safe space to be able to discuss with others the physical and emotional challenges of dealing with this disease. A commitment of 1.5 hours once a week for 6 weeks is worth it! Attending this group helped me feel validated by others who can truly appreciate what it means to have cancer.2
