In order to make the Home Page of Ovd a bit more succinct, I'm rolling all the  monthly reminders into this section. So monthly you'll be able to see what is on the horizon to make note of, along with links to more information and registration where that is required in order to participate.  Hope this works for everyone.

    WORLD OVARIAN CANCER DAY
    May 8 - 
    World Ovarian Cancer Day is quickly approaching. It’s a global day of recognition - a day to bring our voices to the forefront and demand attention. In the current Seeds of Hope, OCC CEO Tania Vrionis details the power of community, forward momentum, and how together we can reach even more people affected by ovarian cancer, others at high risk for this disease, and concerned citizens who know everyone deserves to live their best lives. Many local communities highlight this day.....yours may be one.

    EVERYWOMEN STUDY RESULTS NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE

    In the Fall of 2020, you were one of the hundreds of people who participated in The Every Woman StudyTM: Canadian Edition. This study was the first of its kind in Canada. Thank you for sharing your lived experience to help ensure that people with ovarian cancer across the country can benefit from the best available care, regardless of where they live.

Sessions include an overview of promising research that stands to make an impact in the near term, everything you need to know about clinical trials and how to get involved, updates on PARP inhibitors and how they affect you, and more.

    SEPTEMBER 21 - 7PM ET - MONTHLY SPEAKER SERIES (Zoom Platform) RESUMES

    ADVOCATING FOR THE CARE YOU DESERVE
    Ovarian Cancer Canada and Wellspring Cancer Support are teaming up to bring you a Speaker Series session with Dr. Rob Rutledge, Radiation Oncologist in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dr. Rutledge will be joined by Teal Sisters living with ovarian cancer to share their experience and how they continue to advocate for their care, and this session will include an interactive panel discussion.
