Now April 20 7PM ET - MONTHLY SPEAKER SERIES - The 411 on sexual changes after cancer
Do you have questions about sex and sexuality after a cancer diagnosis? Wondering who to ask and how? On Wednesday, February 23 at 7:00 pm ET, attend The 411 on sexual changes after cancer with Dr. Anne Katz, Certified Sexuality Counselor and Clinical Nurse Specialist at CancerCare Manitoba.
During this session, Dr. Katz will discuss a wide range of topics for women living with ovarian cancer including sexuality after diagnosis, effective communication with yourself, your partner, and your health care provider, common barriers to sexual activity and how to overcome them, and dealing with symptoms of menopause.

Dr. Anne Katz is the Certified Sexuality Counselor and Clinical Nurse Specialist at CancerCare Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. Dr. Katz is the immediate past editor of the Oncology Nursing Forum, the premier research journal of the Oncology Nursing Society. She was inducted into the American Academy of Nursing in 2014. She is the author of 13 books for health care providers and health care consumers on the topics of illness and sexuality as well as cancer survivorship. Her latest book, the second edition of Woman Cancer Sex, was published in the fall of 2020.
